Sand Addiction magazine brings back the Dune Tour with a little different twist. Instead of a long haul across the country, we are creating weekend events in different duning areas. Our seasoned sand enthused staff couldn’t be more excited as we have put
together a flurry of family-friendly events. At each of these stops, activities include a scavenger hunt, bonfire, movie premier, show and shine, kid zone, karaoke party and we give back to the dunes with a sponsored trash clean-up. At certain stops, the ATV Safety Institute program will be available for duners who want to get their rider certification.

Our readers are invited and encouraged to come along on these adventures to hang out with the Sand Addiction crew while making memories and lots of new friends. The Dune Tour is also a great marketing tool that gives us the opportunity to promote the magazine
at each stop. We also extend this promotional opportunity to our advertisers by inviting companies to be sponsors of the Dune Tour and bring your product right to the hands of the consumer. Different levels of sponsorship are available including booth space within our Dune Tour Event area, being a scavenger hunt stop, logo recognition on T-shirts, fliers, website and magazine ads and of course an honorable mention in our full coverage feature on the Dune Tour in Sand Addiction Magazine and SandAddiction.com.

In 2009 we have planned four stops on the West Coast: Glamis Dunes, Pismo Beach, Gordon’s Well and Dumont Dunes. We know there are various places throughout the United States where sand dune recreation areas exist and we hope to take our readers to more stops across the country in 2010 and 2011.
